Elizabeth O'Seah was a normal teenager, but she loved to teach, it was something she loved to do. She was a good student so a teacher sugested her to ask for a part time job as an assistant in the elementary school, there she could get some experience and discover if she really liked to teach.
So she did it, and for her surprise, they gave her the job and that day, would be her first day at job. they told her she was going to be a tutor for a 5 year old girl, Elizabeth Cain.
Liza smiled at the idea of having a student and about the coincidence of having the same name. "Well... this is going to be interesting and ... a great experience" she was happy of this opportunity. She was sitting at the desk checking on a book that the principal lend to her, waiting for Lizzie to get there... classroom 201.

Elizabeth Cain was a little kid, a normal fun loving kid that hated school. She had gotten angry when she had been told about getting a tutor, she didn't like the idea, she just didn't care about her education. She would rather spend her time hanging around with her big brother but she didn't get that choice. Apparently Joel liked school anyway, she didn't get how he did. She walked as slowly as possible to the room where she had been told her tutor would be wating. Classroom 201, she hadn't been to that room before so she could easily use the excuse of getting lost for being late.
She eventually made it to the classroom, about seven minutes late. She smiled, seven minutes less of having to do work. Sh frowned as she walked in, she hated bothered listening when she had been told her tutors name, she had just tuned out and only heard the words 'tutor' and 'classroom 201', she hadn't heard anything else she'd been told. "Hey," she said as she sat down. Se had gotten into a bad habit of saying hey instead of hi because of her brother, she hadn't heard anyone else her age say it. One of the many things people laughed at her about, that was a very smaall thing comapred to some of them though. She sighed quietly.

Liza was waiting as she read the book, when she heard a high voice. she looked at the place where the voice came from and she smiled when she saw a cute blonde girl.
"well, you must be Lizzie" she said and got up, leaving the book on the desk. then walked to where Lizzie was and smiled with a tender, gentle charming smile. "i'm going to be your tutor, I'm Liza O'Shea" it was protocol that a student called teachers and tutors by their last name, but Liza hated that. "you can call me Liza" she said and offered her hand to the girl for a shake.
she wasn't treating Lizzie as a fool baby girl, but as an intelligent polite girl.

Lizzie watched as her new tutor walked over to the desk where Lizzie was sitting. The first thing she spoke made Lizzie frown, "Well, duh." she mumbled, half hoping she had been heard and half hoping she hadn't been heard. She didn't know if this tutor was going tobe nice or strict. Lizzie's first impression of her was nice but that had been her first impression of other teachers that had turned out strict. When the lady said her name, Lizzie couldn't help but giggle a little. Liza O'Shea, Liza sounded liked a nickname for Elizabeth so maybe they had they same name. It wouldn't change a thing though, no way Lizzie was going to enjoy having a tutor.
Calling a teacher, teachers aid or tutor by there first name was something that Lizzie had been taught not to do from her first day of pre-school. She was gonna make this girls life hell, starting with getting angry at her for saying Lizzie could call her by her first name. She ignored the hand that was held out to her, she'd never seen any type of teacher do that either. She took a guess that this girl was at her first day of work. "Ms O'Shea, that's what I'll call you. I'm not supposed to call any type of teacher by their first name, we get told that from our first day of school." She held a slightly bored and slightly angered look on her face, staring at the tutor and hoping to scare her. Maybe if this girl gave up on her she wouldn't get another tutor.

Liza frowned a bit when she answered first, she didn't know why, but this girl was much like she was when she was a kid,at least in her way of answer. She nodded and then when she called her by her last name she sighed.
"so... you can't call me by my nickname but you can answer to me with a duh" She sighed and frowned a bit, then she walked to her desk again and sat at her chair. this little brat will be a pain in her... back, but well she loved challenges.
"ok, Lizzie, the Rpincipal told me you needed help with your homework, so... please take out your homework, to work on it"

Lizzie watched Liza's expression as she spoke, she was frowning and it looked like Lizzie wouldn't have a tutorfor much longer... perfect. Her homework, maybe she didn't want to work on it. She never got her homework done, it was a waste of time. Whenever Joel asked if she had homework she would lie and say she didn't, she hated school so why would she want to do work at home? She just shook her head at Liza and sat there, her bag down next to her. She looked down at it and shrugged. She cared so little about homework she couldn't even remember what homework she had. Maybe it was maths... she was pretty sure it was maths but she really couldn't remember.
"Don't have any..." she said to Liza, smile on her face. Her face lit up with the smile and she looked like a cute little girl that would never lie or ever be mean to anyone. The smile was as fake as the words that she had just said. "Does that mean I can go?" she tried to kept the happiness from her voice but it was impossible, she would be so happy to get out of here and stop the wasting of her time with this stupid tutor. Lizzie gripped her backpack, ready to make a quick escape, hoping it would be that easy to get away.

Liza waited patiently for Lizzie's answer, but she observed her, she wasn't a common girl, she could see that and she liked that, she didn't like very much the kids that were always 100% good kids, all kids needed to mis behave from time to time, and as far as Liza noticed in Lizzie, she was one of those who misbehaved... a lot.
"sure??... your teacher gave me this little tiny list" she said and with a sweet smile showed it to lizzie, it had three sentences, but they were enough to keep Lizzie there, until she finished her homework.
"Maths... Spelling... and nature" she said ad then waited a second just to see if Lizzie would stop lieing and tell her the truth about her homework.
"I don't have any rush to go home, so... I can stay here all afternoon" she said, in part was truth, Luke was at the same camp he went all summers since they were 10 years old. So she didn't have to get back home... she had all day long to be there with Lizzie.

Lizzie glaared at the list that Liza showed her. She hated her teacher right now! She folded her arms and sighed. There was no way she was going to do her homework, she never did homework and she wasn't planning to start now. She smiled when Liza said she had no rush to get home, she had an idea that migth work... maybe. She looked sad, more like she was sad for Liza. "I'm sorry, must be sad not to have a boyfriend at your age..." She seriously didn't care if she got in trouble for saying that, or the fact that she was trying to stop herself from giggling now.
She took out her first homework sheet, the one for Maths. Turned it over to the blank side and stared at it for a second. She then took out a pencil and started to draw. She wasn't an artist, she was suckish at drawing, even for her young age but it was fun and a nice way to pass time, since at this rate she'd be here all afternoon and she wasn't going to be doing any work. She drew a person, a stick figure of course with a pink dress and yellow hair. It would be the type of drawing a parent would think was so bad but would smile and lie, telling their child how pretty it was. It was really that bad but to Lizzie it was pretty.

Liza frowned when Lizzie said so about a boyfriend and her age, she frowned not because she didn't have a boyfriend, but because she missed him, he was in that stupid camp and she hated it! every Summer since they were 10! he left for a month! she hated that.
Then a second after that she smiled and looked at Lizzie. "thank you for your concern, but you should be worrying about that math homework..." she giggled and then looked back at the book.
When Lizzie took out the math sheet, she looked at her, the girl began to draw on the paper. "pink is a nice color... but I rather blue" she sighed and looked into her bag and found her pencil case, it was a color's case, she had more than 60 different colors. but then she put them back in the bag, she knew she should be making Lizzie to do her homework, not allowing her to draw.
"do you like to draw a lot?"she asked smiling at Lizzie. liza almost never lost her smile.

Lizzie smiled when she saw Liza frown but the smile faded almost instantly. She felt a prick of guilt. She never hurt people, no matter how badly people would hurt her she would never hurt them, she just hated the idea of hurting others. She quickly muttered an apology and sighed while colouring in the triangle shaped dress. When Liza's giggled it put a small smile back on Lizzie's face. She went onto the hair, a bright yellow colour that she would also have to use if she drew a sun, she didn't have very many colours. Even with her dad making so much money, Lizzie and her brother weren't given much money to buy things like stationary, it was bad enough that they had to buy the things by themselves, but at least the shop keepers seemed to be used to them.
The shop keepers had always used to have been stressed and annoying and used to always try to get Joel and her out of the shop but a few weeks ago when they had went into there they had been greeted kindly, helped to pick what they needed on the budject they had and the shop keepers had been so nice to even give them a free lollie. It had been weird but a nice change, Lizzie had noticed the silverin the shop keepers eyes but hadn't really thought about it meaning anything. She wasnn't too creative when it came to story writing or thinking about things that weren't suppose to exist. Joel though had been cautious from the second he saw the shop keepers eyes and it had been so obvious, Lizzie had tried to ask him why had acted like that but he'd just told her not to worry.
"And purple is better than them both," she giggled and started to draw some green grass. Drawing wasn't the most entertaining thing for her but it could keep her entertained for a while. She wold probably be bored the second she ran out of things to add to the picture but until then she would be happy just sitting there with the paper and her coloured pencils. She saw in the corner of her eye as Liza took a pencil case outof her bag but then put it back in. "Hmm... have any coloured pencils in that pencil case?" she asked as she drew the grass on the other side of the girl. "Not really... just something fun to do since I'm stuck here all afternoon." she smiled up at Liza, she was never going to do any of her homework.

Liza smiled at Lizzie when she asked abut the colored pencils, and nodded. "yes, they happen to be colored pencils..." she took the pencil case out again and then opened it to show her the colors. then looked at the paper where she was drawing.
"well, we could color some drawings if you want to" she smiled a bit more. She herself hated to do homework when she didn't want to do it. so she should have to know Lizzie better first, then she would find a way to convince her to do her homework without forcing her.
she placed the case on the edge of the desk and smiled at Lizzie. she wasn't going to force her to do anything, she thought that kids learned better when they did the things because they wanted to and not because they were forced to do it.

Lizzie almost felt like throwing the paper away and saying she didn't want to draw, she didn't want Liza to be her tutor but then she seemed nice and Lizzie didn't want to destroy the chance of making a new friend. She sighed, she shouldn't thinking of being a friend with anyone who is even a little like a teacher, it would make her less popular... if that was even possible.
She really hated this school, she missed Sydney, she missed the beautiful parks, the suburbs filled with old houses with large front and backyards. She missed the feeling of community the suburbs had had and she missed her old school. She'd been popular, more confident, she used every chance she had to show off or help people but that was all gone now. All gone because her dad had to get a job in Chicago.
"Yeah..." Lizzie mumbled as she finished the grass. She frowned slightly at her drawing, it was missing something. She took a light orange pencil out of Liza's pencil case and drew a large circle with lines around it and a big smilie face in the middle. At least she had a sun now in her drawing. As she looked at what she'd drawn she worked out what it was starting to look like. It was her, in her favourite park, well it didn't exactly look like that yet but it would. She got a brown pencil and started to draw the large tree she had always sat under.

liza looked at Lizzie, it was nice to see that at least she had taken one of the colors, and that she was coloring with it, she wasn't doing her maths home work, but she was speding some time relaxing. "that is a beautiful place!... where is it?" Liza asked when Lizzie was drawing the park and the girl with the beautiful dress, the sun made it seem as a quiet day in the park, but she had never seen that park before. OOC: sorry it's short
